Sara Chapman has been trading as the letter g since 1996. After more than twenty years as a hands-on designer Sara Chapman can wear these hats: graphic designer, typographer, type designer, illustrator, copywriter, signwriter, art director, information re-structurer, brand developer, print buyer, and project manager. She also teaches practical design and typography as a sessional lecturer to undergraduates at The Department of Typography, University of Reading. She has a BA in Typography (first), University of Reading, 1989, dissertation: ‘The letter g’. and an MA in Type Design (merit), University of Reading, 2007, dissertation ‘type-based branding’. She enjoys creating clear, accessible, friendly and creative stuff for (almost) anyone, but has a particular fondness for projects that involve type, education, charities, English heritage and children. Phil Treble is a typographer and web-designer with over fifteen years experience in both. He specialises in clean, accessible coding with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and attention to detail and consistency in design. He has a BA in Typography, University of Reading, 1995, and was winner of the re-design competition for the Guild of Accessible Web Designers (GAWDS), 2004.
Andrew Gardiner takes the stress out of any large project with his expertise in design project management. He has a industrial photographic training and a background in design for workplace, retail, exhibitions & displays, signage and lighting. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Designers.
Tracy Light runs her sales and marketing business from 65 High Street. She offers an energetic expertise in practical, cost-effective, business development and marketing support for small and medium sized organisations.
